Today we learnt the art of projection by using a projector and a laptop with different abstract designs to create interesting effects on our subject.
The talent was a qualified acrobatics instructor so she was able to do some amazing and unique holding positions for our images.
The hardest part about the experience was trying to find the right angles however with 7 other students also taking images we were trying not to get in each others way.
This is the first time shooting talent so it was an a great experience to learn how to direct, as well as making sure all the technical and sharpness was correct at the same time.
We found it difficult to choose textures and patterns that enhanced the creative effect and also found that the projector was enlarged too much that it left the final images with a pixelated effect. next projection session we will try and find a better/larger projector.
